We initiated the campaign #FeedThemToo to ensure that we build a network where more like-minded people joined hands to help and feed the strays during the period of nationwide lockdown.
The campaign aimed at feeding stray animals who were dependent on food donations by restaurants or generous residents.
After the state-mandated lockdown was implemented, everyone was made to stay home. The animals on the streets were not getting their basic food requirements fulfilled, and their survival was at stake. We used our Project My Pincode online community to run this initiative, through which thousands of individuals were made aware of this adverse situation of the animals. We all came together to ensure that 10000+ stray animals were fed through our network of volunteers. Not only did our volunteers feed the strays in their locality but also through this selfless act, they inspired a number of people, which in turn created a chain of people helping out in this task.
