Our team of volunteers in all districts of India is playing a major role in this distribution. We have identified beneficiaries of these drives through our pan India network of Facebook- My Pincode groups. These groups having membership of 3.5 lakh+ members, have been instrumental in fulfilling the ration requests that were posted in various such groups. Additionally, we have ensured that prior surveys are conducted in these cities to identify areas and people who are in most need.

Community managers of YOLO are playing a significant role in ensuring this and making the Ration Drives a success, facilitating, managing and helping our efforts to fruition. We are taking utmost care to ensure all necessary safety protocols, which are a must during this troubling time of the pandemic, are followed. These are uncertain times, and we are being careful that beneficiaries maintain proper social distancing while standing in ques to collect the kits. What has made this process smoother and effective, is the continuous support that we receive from the local police and district administration, who help ensure that proper measures are taken in maintaining social distancing.
